On June 13th 2025, the School of Management organized a one-day Shanghai tour for international students to deeply experience the historical heritage and modern vitality of the city.
At 9 a.m., the teachers and students departed from the Songjiang Campus by school bus. The first stop was the newly opened Shanghai East Museum located at the People's Square. The international students spent over two and a half hours visiting the museum, focusing on the exquisite Ming and Qing Dynasties cultural relics exhibition and the colorful ethnic arts collection. Through these precious historical artifacts, they were able to trace the development of Chinese civilization.
At 2 p.m., the group arrived at the Bund. With the vivid explanations from a professional tour guide, the international students strolled along the Huangpu River, taking in the century-old buildings of the Bund on the west bank and the modern skyscrapers of Pudong Lujiazui on the east bank. They eagerly took photos to capture these iconic scenes where tradition and modernity meet.
On the way back, the international students shared their experiences with great enthusiasm. This well-planned bus tour was not only a convenient way to explore the city but also a vivid classroom on wheels, allowing the international students to immerse themselves in Chinese culture and experience China's development.
